Create Account

Create an Account

Click “Sign In” at the top of the screen and click on “Don’t have an account?”  This will lead you to enter your information and set up your profile system.

  • Pharmacists/Pharmacy Tech  - for credit to be reported to licensing boards must enter ePID# and DOB
  • Physician – - for credit to be reported to licensing boards must enter State, NIP# and DOB 

 

 

Registration & Receipts

How to access and manage your registrations and receipts:

  1. Click the "My CE" button on the top right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Click the "Registration & Receipts" button.
  3. You can view all the activities you have registered for and, if an activity has a fee, you can view your receipt. To view the receipt, click the "Receipt" button.
  4. You will see the receipt details for the activity including payment information.
  5. Receipts may be emailed. Enter the email address where you wish to email your receipt and click the "Send" button.

Cancel registration

Email [email protected] to cancel registration.  A 10% administrative will be withheld from registration fee.  Refunds are not available if registration fee is $50 or less or if registration is cancelled within 14 days of activity.  Substitutions are accepted.  Send cancellation or substitution information to [email protected].

Due to the unpredictable nature of healthcare, if an activity needs to pivot from in-person to virtual, refunds will not be issued.  If an activity needs to be postponed or cancelled, refunds will be issued.

 

 

SMS Texting

How to do SMS Texting for Attendance Purposes

These instructions assume that you have an active account in the Avera CE Portal.

If you do not, please set up your account first (instructions above). 

  • Physicians – must text attendance and complete evaluation no later than 15 days after activity ends to be awarded CEUs.
  • Pharmacists/Pharmacy Techs – must text attendance and complete evaluation no later than 30 days after activity ends to be awarded CEUs.

First, you must pair your mobile phone to your account in the Avera CE Portal. Text your email address, entered in your Profile, to 605-299-0525. You will receive a message that the phone number has been updated. This is a one-time operation. 

To record your attendance to an activity, text the activity code that has been provided. You will receive a message back that verifies your activity attendance has been recorded. 

 

 

Evaluations & Certificates

How to complete an evaluation:

  1. Click the "My CE” button on the top right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Click "Evaluations and Certificates" - this will allow you to view evaluations that need to be completed.   NOTE:  Evaluations and certificates will expire 30 days after the education ends.    The evaluation and certificate will not appear on in your account once the evaluation has expired.  A certificate will be emailed to you when the evaluation has been completed.  If you need the certificate for re-licensure,  save the certificate sent to you.
    1. Physicians – must complete the evaluation no later than 15 days after activity ends to be awarded CEUs.
    2. Pharmacists/Pharmacy Techs – must complete the evaluation no later than 30 days after activity ends to be awarded CEUs.


How to complete the conference evaluation and download your CE/CME certificate via CloudCME® app:

  1. Download App if you have not already
  2. Open the app, use organization code "Avera".
  3. Login using the email address used to register for the conference.
  4. Select "My Evaluations" on the menu.
  5. Select the correct activity.
  6. Complete the evaluation.
  7. Select "My Certificates" on the menu to access the CE certificate. 

 

Transcript

How to access and manage your transcripts:

  1. Click the "My CE" button on the top right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Click the "Transcripts" button.
  3. Select a date range for the transcript records you wish to access by entering in a Start and End Date. You can email or download your transcript.
  4. You can upload a transcript for activities that you completed externally to your organization by clicking the "Upload" button and selecting the file you wish to add to your CloudCME® transcript. The appended transcript will display at the end of your CloudCME® transcript.

How to access and manage your transcripts via CloudCME® app:

  1. Download the CloudCME App if you have not done so already.
  2. Open the app, use organization code "Avera".
  3. Login using your email address and password.
  4. Select "My Transcript" on the menu, if available.
  5. Select "View," "Email" or "Save to My Device" depending on the action you wish to take.

Mobile App

The CloudCME® mobile app provides quick access to most of the CloudCME® functions. You only need to download the app and login once. Then you will be able to use all of the app's functions

  • My Tasks: Allows you to complete tasks assigned to faculty (ex: financial disclosure)
  • Calendar: Allows you to view and register for upcoming CE activities .
  • My Evaluations: Allows you to complete activity evaluations.
  • My Certificates: Allows you to view, print or email certificates.
  • On-Demand Courses: Allows you to access online activities and complete them.
  • My Tests:  Allows you to complete tests associated with On-Demand activities
  • Presentations:  View presentations from educational activities
  • My Transcript: Allows you to view, print or email your transcript.

 

 

Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

System does not recognize my email:

  • Email [email protected] for assistance.
  • If you have never received CE credits from Avera previously, click ‘Sign In With Your Email and Password’ and then ‘Don’t Have An Account’ to create an account. 

Password isn’t working:

  • Click ‘Forgot Your Password’ and enter your email address; an email will be delivered with a link to set up your password. 

I’m locked out of the CE portal:

  • After a certain number of failed attempts to login, your account will be locked. Avera Continuing Education staff can unlock your account for you. Please email [email protected] for assistance.
