2018 Educational Planner Appreciation Day (Nov 2 2018)

This educational activity is specially designed to engage educational planners in valuable educational design resources and tools to better Avera's Continuing Medical Education and Continuing Nursing Education programs.

1. Review future trends in leadership development, staff development and continuing education.
2. Identify possible positive outcomes of making learning competitive.
3. Discuss the importance of determining Return on Investment (ROI) in training environments.
4. Describe the importance of the assessment of learning for ROI.
5. Explain the differences between short-term and long-term assessment.
6. Identify key strategies to fight the forgetting curve in learners.
7. Review the concept of cafeteria learning that supports learner's choice.
8. Identify key strategies to effectively market an educational activity.
