This course is designed to give participants an opportunity to learn the management of osteoporosis in orthopedics related to screening, diagnosis, and treatment.

1. Review the diagnosis of Osteoporosis
2. Discuss the risks associated with Osteoporosis
3. Discuss the risk stratification in Osteoporosis patients
4. Review the impact of medications for medications for Osteoporosis on bone healing
5. Discuss the risks associated with bone medications
6. Review the strategies for safe and effective fracture prevention
