This recorded session features Avera Talent Development Consultant Robyn Ewalt and a leader panel, sharing insights in Nimble Learning in leadership development journeys. Nimble Learning is a critical leadership skill for effective leaders in healthcare. Avera’s belief for Nimble Learning as a leadership competency is that it is: “Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning opportunities.” While actively learning when tackling new problems may be the easier piece, many leaders fear failure for various reasons. This session unpacks leader experiences to draw from wisdom gained in the realm of nimble learning. CEO John Kozyra and Veteran Liaison Officer Freddy Real join in a discussion to share lessons learned from perspectives of various backgrounds. Leaders will benefit from this discussion by applying awareness of their own skillset in nimble learning and looking at how they can approach growing in this competency. Nimble Learning is an important set of leadership skills necessary to effectively lead teams.

2. Demonstrate understanding of the behaviors of Nimble Learning and how these behaviors help leaders effectively lead their teams.
3. Articulate best practices in leadership skills growth throughout a leadership career.
