Avera vLEAD sessions will incorporate internal content experts, intentional leadership topics, and focused attention to what leaders need, now. This recorded session covers the principles of healthcare finance, breaking down formulas and methodologies of revenues and expenses and how this correlates in the healthcare setting. This session will provide leaders with a broader understanding and awareness of the principles of healthcare finance and impacts, with an ability to bring these ideas back to their teams, thus helping them to drive vision and purpose and more effectively lead their teams

1. Define and understand the flow of resources
2. Translate clinical activity to monetary value.
3. Apply contextual understanding of history’s impact on healthcare revenue
4. Understand the profitability and relevance of operational performance to capital capacity.
5. Articulate financial benchmarks, measurement, and creditworthiness.
