The goal of this conference is to disseminate the results of nursing research, evidence-based practice and quality improvement project conducted in hospitals, schools of nursing or commnity. The presentation provide insights into current challenges in patient care delivery or nursing education. Nurses, nurse leader, nursing faculty and nursing students will have the opportunity learn from one another and interact throughout the day.

1. Discuss how healthcare organizations have altered their process to onboard new graduate nurses after the COVID-19 pandemic
2. List the factors associated with nurses' emotional distress and the impact of sociodemographic, psychosocial and work environmental influences in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
3. Discuss the impact of an academic-practice partnership to reduce the RN shortage in rural hospitals in South Dakota
4. Describe the impact of monitoring hospitalized patients at high risk for falls using virtual monitoring technology on patient fall rates
5. Discuss the process validate the State-Trait Hopelessness Scale for use in stroke survivors
6. Describe the implementation of a structured web-based educational program for rural and underserved population in South Dakota to improve maternal morbidity and mortality
7. Discuss the impact of pet therapy on the perceived stress levels of staff in the emergency department
8. Describe the implementation of an international virtual exchange program for nursing students to develop collaboration skills and enhance healthcare for vulnerable, rural populations
9. Discuss the implementation of a student-led wellness initiative to improve stress and burnout in health science students
