Overview
This educational session is specifically designed to give learners a better understanding of how healthcare operates in regions that have access to Avera eCare, especially the population and tribal differences and operations.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Describe the Areas of the Indian Health Services
  2. Explain the patterns and basis for health disparities in the Great Plains Area
  3. Explain the patterns and basis for health disparities in the Albuquerque Area
  4. Explain the patterns and basis for health disparities in the Navajo Area
  5. Describe promising practices to address health disparities in American Indian populations

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Describe the Areas of the Indian Health Services.
