Overview
Upon completion of this activity, the learner will increase knowledge on how to proceed to care for maternal patient in delivery with a shoulder dystocia and how to care for the baby born with nuchal cord to prevent fetal demise.

Objectives
  1. Define shoulder dystocia.
  2. Identify risks of shoulder dystocia.
  3. Define nuchal cord.
  4. Identify risks of nuchal c.ord
  5. Review measures to prevent fetal demise in emergent OB cases.
