Overview
This two-day multidisciplinary Statewide Trauma Conference is an educational opportunity for the trauma communities across the state of South Dakota. Our goal is to not only provide education, but to create a networking opportunity for the South Dakota Trauma Community.

Professions - Nurse - Nurse Practitioner, Nurse - RN, Nurse -LPN/LVN, Physician, Physician Assistant

Objectives

100% of the healthcare professionals will self-report an increase in knowledge and skill on the tools needed to implement and carryout a successful trauma performance improvement program, which is designed to improve patient care and outcomes by the end of the session. 


  1. Identify key components that are needed to have an effective Performance Improvement Program.
  2. Identify how an effective Performance Improvement Program relates to better patient care and outcomes.
