The Conference will offer learning in three formats: didactic presentation, panel discussion, and practical application of wellness techniques. Taking a whole person approach, the session moves from knowledge, sentiment to applications & behavior. The session begins with an interactive lecture on the foundations of our vocational identities as creations of a good and loving God. Moving into a panel on nursing impact, participants will make relational connections between their wellness and that of those they serve. Finally, they will be exposed to and practice techniques to sustain daily well-being and practices of authentic self-care.

1. Participants will recognize the stigma associated with seeking help and discuss strategies to overcome this barrier within their professional community.
2. Participants will explore the impact of their wellness on patient care outcomes, identifying key areas for improvement.
3. Participants will apply mindfulness and relaxation techniques in their daily routines, observing and documenting the effects on their stress levels and job performance.
