Due to the unpredictable nature of healthcare, if an activity needs to pivot from in-person to virtual, refunds will not be issued.  If an activity needs to be postponed or cancelled, refunds will be issued. 

This educational day will bring healthcare professionals together for an opportunity to hear current topics in infection prevention and to network with other infection preventionist peers. The purpose of this conference is to allow infection preventionists to develop collaborative practices that can work towards improved consistency and competence in infection prevention and control practices.

In support of improving patient care, Avera is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Credit Designations:

	Nurse CE: Avera designates this activity for a maximum of 6.0 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
	Nursing Facility Administrator: Avera is an approved provider of continuing education for South Dakota through the South Dakota Board of Nursing Facility Administrators. This educational activity is approved for 6.00 hour(s) for nursing facility administrators.
