No cost to attend.  Register one time to receive notification of the content when it becomes available (notifications will be sent to the email address used for registration).

Series Schedule:  

On the first Friday of every month, new content will be launched.  This content will be available for 30 days to watch the webinar, review supplemental information, complete a brief post-test and evaluation.

What is the content this year? 

Here is an example of some of the content that will be offered this year.

• Helping Parents Know How to Respond to Wanted Behaviors
• When Worry becomes Avoidance: How Do We Help Parents to Change the Pattern of Avoidance
• Social Comparisons: Helping Parents Understand Impact of Social Media and Social Comparisons
• Physical Health and Mental Health: A Message for Parents to Understand the Relationship

Where will I find the content when it's available?

Content will be found on the Avera CE Portal -- OnDemand Series.  

Learners will better understand factors that can impact the mental health of children and adolescents and learn resources for parents.

CE is being pursued for the following disciplines: 

• Nursing
• Social Work
• Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapy (SD Board of Examiners)
