This education is designed to increase knowledge and understanding Inequities in Palliative & Hospice Care.

1. Discuss palliative and hospice equity alongside the clinical practice guidelines.
2. Discuss the differences between equity and equality.
3. Reflect on past cases of perceived (or real) palliative/hospice inequity.
4. Explore the concept of cultural humility in palliative care.
5. Apply a palliative care conceptual framework to identify facilitators and barriers for addressing disparities in palliative and hospice care.
