Avera vLEAD Leadership Development Registration Series

Register one time to receive information for each session in the series.

This series regularly falls on the third Tuesday of the month. On occasion, due to speaker availability, holidays, or other logistical needs, the session may change dates or times. Communication regarding session date and time changes will come to all registered participants via the Avera CE Portal email communications.

vLEAD is a monthly series devoted to offering up development for leadership at Avera. Monthly sessions will cover hot topics, current development needs, and system-based information as well. This series is internally hosted and produced in an effort to offer continued development opportunities for Avera leaders, to support them in their front line efforts and personal and professional development goals. 

Objective: Discuss how successful teams and high quality leadership lead to an improved healthcare delivery system.   This information is also accessible as an article on the Leader Resource page in HRNow.

Medicine CME:  Avera designates this live activity for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurse: Avera designates this activity for a maximum of 0.75 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

SD State Board of SW:  Avera Health Provider #1029 is an approved provider of continuing education by the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners.  Social Workers will receive 0.75 continuing education clock hours for participating in this course.

Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapy (SD Board of Examiners): Avera is a recognized provider of continuing education, for all counseling related content, for the South Dakota Board of Examiners for Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists. Social Workers will receive 0.75 continuing education clock hours for participating in this course.

Nursing Facility Administrator:  Avera is an approved provider of continuing education for South Dakota through the South Dakota Board of Nursing Facility Administrators. This educational activity is approved for 0.75 hours for nursing facility administrators.
