Pharmacy Pearls for Prescribers provides up-to-date information on medications, developed by a multidisciplinary group of AMG primary care physicians and pharmacists from Avera Health and Avera Health Insurance Division. An interdisciplinary group has been working to develop educational materials to meet this need. In this series we will discuss anticoagulation management related to: Acute treatment for migraines, migraine prevention, CGRP receptor antagonists, utilization management.

1. Discuss treatment options for migraines
2. Identify migraine prophylactic treatment options
3. Evaluate efficacy, safety, and tolerability of CGRP’s for episodic and chronic migraine prevention and treatment
4. Describe cost effective options for migraine management
5. Describe how a multidisciplinary collaboration can contribute to continuous and reliable patient care

	Social Work: As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Avera is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.00 Cultural Competency continuing education credit(s).
