Description
The current pace of innovation and increasing acuity of complex multispecialty involved patients leaves ample opportunity for improvement of bedside care. The monthly APP Journal Club will provide direct patient care Advanced Practice Providers with evidenced-based, up-to-date recommendations and guidelines for various topics from general medicine to specialty services.

Objectives
  1. Participants will be able to relate new changes and knowledge base, and adapt their individual practice accordingly.
  2. Participants will be able to promote the highest quality and standards of care delivery in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  3. Participants will recognize, apply, and integrate evidence-based research into current practice.

Registration Information

There is no cost to attend this series.

Register one time to receive information for each session in the series.  You will be notified via email 1 - 2 days prior to the session with the WebEx information.  This activity is only available via WebEx.


Accreditation

CME Accreditation Statement: 
Avera is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  Application has been made for continuing medical education.

NCPD Accreditation Statement: 
Avera is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. A total of 1.0 contact hours can be received upon completion of this activity. Application has been made for continuing medical education.
