Allison is the Pharmacist Coordinator at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital.  She graduated from South Dakota State University with a BS in Pharmacy and then again two years later with a Doctor of Pharmacy.  She has been a hospital pharmacist for 14 years and a Home Infusion Pharmacist for 13 years (all with Avera).  She became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist in 2003.  She has been with the Avera Antimicrobial Stewardship program as a representative for Avera Sacred Heart Hospital when it started in 2015.  She was named the Avera Sacred Heart Antimicrobial Stewardship Champion since 2020.  She provides consultation and Antimicrobial Stewardship services to Freeman Regional Health Services.  She is also a preceptor for South Dakota State University and University of Nebraska Medical Center Pharmacy Students.  In her free time, she likes to quilt, knit and watch movies with her husband and boys.
